Back in July of '07 I was getting pretty bored sitting around at night watching TV or playing on the computer. One day I somehow stumbled onto Meetup.com. It's kind of like Facebook or Myspace except that people actually get together. Getting together, what a concept! Pretty much anything you're interested in you can find others of like mind who've formed a meetup group.

The first meetup group I joined was a coffee one. Then there were a number of metaphysical/religious ones. Along the way I discovered others who like to bowl and who were on my skill level (i.e. they sucked too). There are several groups dedicated to travel and still others to trivia. Lots of fun to be had by all. Made lots of great friends and had good times.
