Spicy Cajun Shrimp

Ingredients

2 lbs. shrimp
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
1/2 tsp crushed dried thyme leaves
1/2 tsp crushed dried oregano leaves
1/3 cup margarine
1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup beer at room temperature
1 cup or 1 large tomato coarsely diced
3 cups cooked rice

Directions

Clean and devein shrimp under cold running water. Drain well, then set aside. In a small bowl, combine the seasonings. Combine the margarine, garlic, worcestershire sauce and seasoning mix in a large skillet over high heat. When the margarine is melted, add the tomato, then the shrimp. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring evenly. Add beer and cover. Cook for 1 minute longer.
