Savory Meat Loaf
Ingredients
1.5 lbs ground turkey
1 cup milk*
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon chopped sage leaves or 1/4 teaspoon dried
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 garlic clove chopped or 1/8 teaspoon powder
2 eggs*
3 slices of bread torn up*
1 small onion
1/2 cup ketchup, chili sauce or bbq sauce
Directions
Mix all ingredients together* except ketchup/chili sauce/bbq sauce. Place in baking pan of appropriate
size. Glaze top with ketchup/chili sauce/bbq sauce. Bake at 350 degrees
for at least an hour or until internal temperature is at least 180 degrees. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
* Note: I found this mix to be too soupy. Fixed by reducing milk to 1/2 cup, adding a bit more
egg, and toasting the bread.
